Candidasa is one of a temple in dasa bugbug. Long long time ago before Candidasa open become resort place,  Candidasa is a quiet place.  Where the activities of the local people is  fishing at sea of Candidasa to get the fish for their life. Not  many people who inhabit Candidasa. Each year the people from desa bugbug prayer at the temple of Candidasa to please safety.

Because Candidasa has a very beautiful beach, and also has a natural lake noce many tourists visit Candidasa. Along with this, the perpetrators take advantage of this business of tourism as an opportunity to build bungalows, home stay, restaurants, and even hotels.
Every  years more developed the tourist who come for holiday. This is very beneficial for the local residents to get jobs such as working in hotels, restaurants, tourist driver, guiding, and transportation.
Because of the growing business in Candidasa, too many people from outside the village bugbug come to find work or do business in Candidasa. Some people make community to do the business like joint transport share the cars to rent with or without guides. Sme local people who has the land in Candidasa they make like apartment to rent for employee or for the tourists. Some people they are doing the business joint with foreigner and growing the business with share .

The tourists who come for the holiday came mostly from Germany, England, France, Australia and Japan.They stay in Candidasa for long term like for 3 until 6 mounths as the cost for lodging and the cost of living in Candidasa very cheap in compare with other areas of tourism in bali.
